As a graphic designer I consider myself to be a very visual person. I do a lot of looking and absorbing. And I always aspire to take something intangible such as emotion or smell, movement or music and translate it onto the page using imagery. I came across this poster while I was researching a Blue Devils project we are working on to design graphics for their 2010 show theme. This is from the 1930s and conveys so much joy. I love the contrast, the movement, the emotion. And all without a Mac :-)
